Job Summary

UK Care and Nursing are currently recruiting for a Nursing Home Manager on behalf of our Home client within the Curdridge area. Our client has Care Homes throughout the UK and are currently recruiting in Hampshire. The home provides support to residents with complex neurological, physical, and mental health needs. You will be responsible for the provision of care, ensuring that the personal care of residents is maintained in strict accordance with their care plan. Your senior management and nursing experience will be required to run your team in addition to driving the home forward with the intake of new, residents. To apply for this role, you must be a qualified registered nurse and hold a valid NMC pin.

Job Role

· Lead your team by example

· Achieve financial targets and control home expenditure and stock rotation

· Market special events within the home and surrounding area

· Maintain a visible and high-profile presence within the home

· Maintain high levels of occupancy

· Have a patient and caring nature

· Recruit, train and develop new staff

· Go above and beyond to assist residents and your staff

· Good organisation skills

· Undertake walk around checks ensuring compliance

· Ensure that patients receive a high-quality service

· Effectively manage staff and resources

Education, Skills and qualifications

Our successful candidate will:-

· Be a Registered Nurse with current NMC pin

· Qualified in NVQ 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care

· Knowledge of CQC standards and regulations

· 3 years' experience in a managerial role

· Experience of meeting targets and managing budgets

· Have excellent communication skills

· Work well under pressure and be able to work to deadlines
