My client, a prestigious and renowned membership organisation, seek an immediately available temporary Assistant Accountant to work with the Accounts Manager for an initial period of at least 2 months.
It is essential that the applicants are familiar with and have previous experience of Sage 50 for this role.
The offices are based in Central London, but remote working is available due to the pandemic.
To manage the Accounts inbox, ensuring that purchase invoices are processed with suitable authorisation, entered onto the system and paid within terms.
To raise sales invoices as required, ensure that they are entered on to the system in a timely and accurate manner, record and post payments and ensure debtors are managed.
To post employee expense and credit card claims, ensuring they are allocated accurately and that supporting documentation is secured
To assist departments with their project reporting requirements.
Qualifications and skills;
A part-qualified accountan tor experienced bookkeeper.
A minimum of 2 year's experience managing purchase and sales ledgers, strong reconciliation skills and the ability to 'hit the ground running'.
Good computer literacy and Excel spreadsheet skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
Good communication skills.
Sage 50 experience (essential).
This role is a temporary (initially 2 months) full time (37 hours/week)
Hourly rate of circa £15.00 per hour.
