If you have experience in the design of 11kV / 33kV networks and would like to join a busy power distribution consultancy then this opportunity could be perfect for you.
You'll be working with an organisation that specialises in general HV network design, power systems, control and protection and earthing studies for a range of projects between 11kV and 132kV. Although, the HV Design Engineer will initially be responsible for designing 11kV and 33kV networks and new connections, there will be opportunities to develop in these other areas as well. That's not something a lot of companies can offer.
A degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering is required, as well as experience in the design of 11kV / 33kV infrastructure. This experience will have been gained with an Independent Connections Provider (ICP), Distribution Network Operator (DNO) or associated consultancy / contractor.
