The main purpose is to be involved in the customer project lifecycle from initial inquiry/qualification process, through the demonstration and gap analyses, to the eventual final project delivery.

Who already have the understanding of business process, software and how users use the functionality. We are seeking candidates who have the aptitude, and right attitude, who can then be cross-trained onto their product and functionality. You will start as an Assistant and progress with regular 3 monthly reviews developing into a complete Functional Consultant
As the Software Functional Consultant, your responsibilities will include
Attend customer requirement gathering meeting, establish what the company does, their needs and where they can use ERP functionality in their business functions.
Gather test Data from customers for test purposes
Assemble a presentation and software model that customers can assess and test
Follow-up 1 month later to discuss customers' requirements and talk through the analyses required to progress through to agreed project and implementation.
Build a Project Initiation Document (PIG) and gain commitment and agreement
Conduct the Gap Analyses
Manage Software Development cycle: software development team code work: code review: testing: code review: QA testing: UAT
Manage the training delivery program either via a team or individually
Continuous management of the customer expectations within time constraints and budget Key Interfaces, internally and externally for the Software Functional Consultant are:
Director, Customer Stakeholder, Software Development, Quality Assurance
The experience, skills required from the Software Functional Consultant are:
Software Functionality knowledge and experience.
Software demonstrating and/or training
Customer facing experience
A clear understanding of business process
Able to drive to customer siteKnowledge, Skills, Personality
Customer facing, good communicator, analytical, report writing, organized
Here is what to expect:
Starting salary of approximately £25k to £35K based on ability, skills and experience.
Salary reviews every 3 months in your 1st year
35 Hours, Monday to Friday 9-5
25 days holiday + bank holiday
