Brewster Partners are excited to be partnering with a highly respected independent accountancy practice in the recruitment of a Trainee Accountant. If you are someone who has begun their AAT studies and is looking for a new role in Practice or looking to kick start their career in an accountancy firm, this could be the role for you.
This will be a varied position, giving you exposure into the full accounts Cycle. You will be supported by a friendly team and given the tools and time to succeed in your qualification with a clear and well thought out development plan.
* Preparation of the working papers
* Assist and then take ownership of client accounts preparation
* Quarterly VAT returns
* Double entry bookkeeping
* Dealing with clients both over the phone and face to face
* Dealing with personal and business tax
* HMRC submissions
* Practice experience highly preferred
* AAT Studier
* Good excel skills
* Good Maths and English GCSE's
