UK sites are in Farringdon (London), Haywards Heath (Sussex), and Birmingham, and we have start-up operations in both Sweden and the US. We operate flexibly with a hybrid model of remote and office working and all roles require the ability to work from home effectively. The balance of home / office working varies according to the role, with a minimum commitment to be in the office at least twice a month.
This role is to help build the Global Insurance Platform of the future. We are looking for a Product Manager with a strong technical background to help the broader product organisation execute an ambitious growth goals. This role will be a pivotal part of continued success and will be a crucial enabler for growth in the UK, Sweden and the US.
You will lead the Policy Squad, a central platform team at the core of global insurance platform and a key enabler for future growth and innovation. A crucial part of future growth is a best-in-class API that supports a multitude of insurance products spread around the globe. You'll own the delivery, usability and direction of the Insurance Policy API used by both - internal squads and external partners.
Experience and Qualifications:
Deep knowledge of APIs, Authentication and Permission models, and the tools used to test and build against them.
Deep knowledge of Agile software delivery and API development and support
Strong communicator, coordinator and good leadership skills
You can deal/ work with people who aren't on board with your ideas/change and get everyone aligned
Coaching leadership style - you know how to inspire exceptional effort with individuals and teams through engagement and empowerment in order to achieve results
Confident - you are able to take the heat and/or professionally push back on expectations when appropriate
Integrity - you earn the respect of peers, staff, and clients
