Commercial Contracts Lawyer

Our client is market-leading in its sector and are looking for a Legal Counsel / Commercial Lawyer to join their busy and growing in-house legal department based in Derbyshire. The role will be conducted largely remotely for the foreseeable future in light of COVID 19, but as and when circumstances permit, the successful candidate will attend meetings as required, albeit it is likely that there will be a significant amount of homeworking available once offices reopen.

The ideal candidate will be:

A UK qualified solicitor with strong academics with 2 - 4 years PQE
Experienced working on a range of commercial agreements and contracts including customer contracts, framework agreements, supply contracts, and other commercial contracts
Able to assist the business on more general legal issues - including ad hoc support on corporate matters, company secretarial and disputes as required
An excellent communicator with a commercial / business outlookThis is a great opportunity to work in a team where you develop a variety of different legal skills. The role offers the potential to progress and develop your career quickly.

Our client envisages that candidates with between 2 - 4 years PQE will have the relevant skills / knowledge for this position, however this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this PQE range but who have the relevant experience.
