Job Title: Corporate Tax Accountant
Location: Gloucester
Basic salary: £30,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) + pension + benefits
Type: Permanent
A medium sized Accountancy Practice that prides itself on its professional and personal approach to work is recruiting for a Tax Accountant on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate is required to have a strong background in corporate tax either as a Senior Associate, Tax Accountant or Tax Manager. The role requires you manage your own workload with minimal supervision. A high level of technical aptitude together with excellent communication skills and business acumen is also required for this position.
Responsibilities:
Provide Tax advisory services where appropriate to a large selection of clients
Manage a portfolio of clients, including interaction with clients and colleagues to ensure all deadlines (client & statutory) are met
Compliance for some large groups
Writing client reports
Revision of technical and financial assessments prepared by other members of the team
Liaising with the accounts team, you will provide guidance and support in preparing tax computations as part of the accounts preparation process
Detailed reviews of corporate tax computations on larger and more complex clients
Supervision of more junior members of the team
Direct contact with clients
