Protocol are pleased to be working closely with a college based in West Yorkshire, in their continuous efforts to support student learning and development.
We are seeking a Covid Champion to provide specialist advice and guidance on COVID 19 management. The role would manage requests from colleagues to ensure students identified as direct contacts or symptomatic have the information and practical support they need in order to access testing and self-isolate. This will include provision of food, medicine, emotional health support or access to funding as well as checking in on student wellbeing during any self-isolating period.
The position is offering full time hours (35 hours per week) with the potential to offer some overtime and will run on a temporary on-going basis with the potential to become a permanent position within the college.
*Provide information and practical support in regards to testing and self-isolation
*Provide information and guidance in regards to the provision of food, medicine, emotional health support or access to funding
*checking in on student wellbeing during any self-isolating period.
*Have a good working knowledge of COVID 19 procedure (testing/ isolating)
*Have good people skills and the ability to relay information in an effective and timely manner
*Experience of working in a similar role/ having experience providing guidance and support to students
