We are seeking a strong Senior Care Assistant on Nights with previous care experience to join a fantastic Residential Care Home in Fishbourne, just outside of Chichester. This is an initmate home for up to 20 residents with a supportive and caring team.
About the home:
This is a beautiful 20 bedded residential care home specialising in elderly and dementia care. Their CQC report is rated 'GOOD' or 'OUTSTANDING' in every area, an achievement that they're extremely proud of and standards that they strive to maintain to provide the best care possible to the residents.
The home is located in Fishbourne, just outside Chichester, and is well served by public transport. Fishbourne train station in only a 5 minute walk away and there is a bus stop just outside the home.

Job Role - Senior Care Assistant
Hours - Full Time (36 hours per week, alternate weekends or 1 day every weekend)
Shifts - 8pm-8am
Service - Residential
Rate of Pay- £10.25+ per hour starting rate with a pay review due soon.
Senior Care Assistant Duties:
To Supervise and participate in the delivery of care to residents
To promote professional, high standards of care during the Night shift
To lead on the responsibility of residents individual care plans to ensure a person centres approach
To provide leadership and support to the care staff and take responsibility for the home on Nights
Responsible for the administration of medication
As a Senior Care Assistant you will be expected to lead by example at all times and provide strong leadership skills to the rest of the care assistants. You should have a strong work ethic and embody your care homes attitude towards delivering the highest standards of care.
Requirements:
Previous experience within a nursing/residential home
Previous experience as a HCA or SHCA
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
Medication trained
