We are currently recruiting for passionate and caring teaching assistants to start roles in 'GOOD' schools, in LE8, LE5, LE4 and LE2. The roles are to start immediately on a long-term basis for suitable applicants and will continue on an ongoing or even permamant basis for the right candiate..
The roles
Full-Time Monday - Friday (Term Time)
* Supporting a lovely year 2 pupil on a 1:1 basis potential ASD
* Reading Interventions
* Supporting a Yr 3 pupil with ASD
* General EYFS Teaching Assistant
* Year 6 Teaching Assistant General support
Assisting the pupils with all learning materials and help make good progress in their education
Supporting the teacher with daily activities and lesson plans to a high standard
Good behaviour management skills and strategies are required as well as following the schools own behaviour policy
Liaising with the school SENCO and child's parents around progress and areas for improvement
The successful applicant will be able to build a relationship with children and help them to engage in class
The ideal candidates will
Have previous experience supporting children with Special Needs.
Will be able to commit to a long term assignment on a full time basis
Have at least a Level 2 childcare related qualification
Be committed to providing the best support and be able to build a strong relationship with the pupil
Be willing and able to provide professional references within the last two years (including most recent employer)
Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to complete a new one
