My client is a highly established medium sized UK Charitable Care Home provider, who puts Care before Profit and values its staff, offering structured training and progression and truly person centred and personal care to its Residents.
The Nursing Home is well equipped and unusually well staffed, offering residents and their families a personal touch with the care of their loved ones. This home is run by a highly knowledgable and motivational Manager who values their staff. The home is set in the finest countryside in Gloucestershire, offering Residents and Staff beautiful panoramic views.
The care home remains Covid free and provides care to elderly service users including dementia and End of Life. You can make a real difference by enabling the residents to maximise their independence and interests in a caring and fun-loving environment.
We are looking for a caring Nurse with experience in a Care Home environment. The ideal candidate is a Registered General Nurse (RGN), I would also welcome applications from a clinically skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), End of Life and Dementia care experience are desirable, but training can be provided to the right candidate.
As a Nurse you will have range of responsibilities, professionally you will be supporting and leading the team whilst on shift to caring for the residents physical and social needs, with compassion, understanding and empathy. Your communication skills are key to this role, both verbal and written documentation are essential to ensure residents, families, GP's and all other external and internal parties are kept informed at all times.
My client offers a fantastic induction process, with training and development before you start such as Safeguarding and Manual Handling refreshers, Medication Competency checks, 1 month buddying up with an experienced Nurse, and frequent courses - They are due to have a phlebotomy course at the home in the next few weeks
