Procurement & Contracts Manager/Lead

Temporary requirements, Procurement & Contracts Manager (8a) and Procurement & Contracts Lead (Band 7)

My client an NHS organisation in Central London is recruiting for two Procurement roles on an Temporary basis, both roles are inside of ir35.

Location: Remote

Roles: Band 7 and Band 8a

Band 8a Procurement & Contracts Manager - 9 months

Strong Procurement experience and knowledge in IT categories
Experienced in procuring software and services, including cloud based products.
Ability to manage a number of procurement projects at any one time
Experienced in a broad range of sourcing strategies to support an IT strategy
Previous experience of running tenders via a framework as well as open source
Previous experience of strategy development and implementation
Outstanding communication and able to influence at a senior level
Strong Relationship management both with internal customers, stakeholders & suppliers
Procurement execution including business requirements, market analysis, setting drafting tender documentation to include scope of requirements and evaluation criteria
Experience of negotiation and contract award in relation to IT and software
Required to ensure knowledge transfer and best practice to the procurement team. This includes developing guidance with the procurement and contract lead
Managerial or leadership experience highly beneficialBand 7 Procurement and Contracts Manager- until May 2021

Experience of running an OJEU tender
