SEND TAs required to work on a long term basis - Loughborough
GSL Education Leicester are recruiting for experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to work in our fantastic client Special Needs Schools based in Loughborough
The schools are committed to providing a safe, caring and engaging environment which ensures that all pupils are able to access high-quality learning opportunities that cater for
The Secondary school cater for various SEN including Autism, MLD, Downs Syndrome, ADHD and challenging behaviour. The severity of additional needs vary across the schools
Roles starting immediately
Your main duties will include:
* Providing 1:1 and general classroom support
* Assisting children with daily activities
* Supporting the class teacher to plan and deliver activities
* Creating and organising displays
* Assessing pupil progress and ensuring a safe learning environment
The ideal candidates will have experience working with various SEN and will have a DBS registered to the update service.
Secondary Trained TAs are encouraged to apply.
Applications from youth/support workers, residential support workers, children's security service providers, nursing staff and graduates experienced working with children and young people are also encouraged to apply.
