Location: Sunderland
Pay: £300 - £350 Per Week
Contract Type - Temporary
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are a Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
Vision for Education is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our successful supply team and work in a local primary school in the Sunderland area. This is a fixed term Teaching Assistant (TA) role, which will commence in January 2021 until July 2021.
The role
Working as part of a dynamic and creative team, the desired Teaching Assistant (TA) will focus on delivering interventions to small groups of children, whilst also providing general classroom support for a class of 26 children.

Requirements
To be considered for the desired Teaching Assistant (TA) position, you will:
Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare.
Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a Key Stage 1 environment.
Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
Ideally have experience delivering interventions with small groups of children.

The desired Teacher will be working in a large class of 25 pupils, with a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for both NQTs and experienced Teachers, but the school would ideally like someone who has recently taught in Key Stage 1.
