Spencer Clarke Group are working closely alongside Trafford Council to provide them a with a Pensions Specialist to join their team on a 9 month fixed term contract.
To support the development of a 'leading edge' Shared Service Centre for Partnership members, ensuring a high performing and customer focused transactional HR, Payroll and Pension service that is continuously improving and seen as best-in-class public sector model.
To provide a comprehensive payroll control and pension administration function across a number of large, complex organisations.
To act as a point of expertise for specialist payroll and pension advice for employees, managers and organisations.
The position is payroll and pensions specialist however the emphasis for this contract is pensions. The role is for an experienced individual who has the ability to manually calculate benefits, complaint/escalation responses and day to day management of the workload of the team. Experience of the Local Government Pension Scheme is advantageous but not essential.
Educated to degree level in a relevant subject.
AAT Level 3 NVQ in payroll / CIPP Foundation in Payroll administration or equivalent
Associate CIPP or relevant professional membership
Evidence of continued professional development
