Accounts Manager
Northampton
£38,000 - £50,000
**IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE!!**
We are pleased to be worked with a medium sized practice in Northampton, we are looking for a qualified (ACA/ACCA) experienced accounts manager to oversee a large portfolio of corporate clients. The clients range in size from turnovers of £50K to £25m and cover a wide variety of industries.
The role includes but is not limited to the following:
Responsible for controlling a portfolio of clients to ensure statutory deadlines are met for both statutory accounts and Corporation Tax
Direct support to clients to assist with queries and provide tax planning advice
Work alongside the Accounts Director to manage the accounts department
Assist in the training of accounts staff as and when required
Active involvement in growing the Corporate side of the business
Supporting the Directors on client projects ie corporate restructures, MBOs, business advisory work
Responsible for the billing of their client portfolio and reporting to directors on any material deviations from budgets

Desirable Competencies
The candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience (10 years +)
Experience in managing a portfolio of corporate clients
Strong accounting knowledge, specifically FRS102 1A
Strong Corporate tax and VAT knowledge
Good understanding of the impact that the company accounts have on the directors' personal tax position
