Our client is an award-winning general college of Further Education with specialist land-based status. They are offering a competitive wage and opportunity to inspire apprentices with your knowledge whilst having access to some of the best facilities in the country!


£27,051 - £36,651 per annum

37 hours per week

52 weeks per annum

Bicester Campus

The college has a new apprenticeship training centre, specialising in the construction industry and will open in Bicester early next year. The state-of-the-art facility will provide exciting opportunities for apprentices to train in plumbing, electrical installation, carpentry and joinery, and property maintenance. The first cohort of apprentices will start in February 2021. The centre will house the type of industry-standard equipment that apprentices will find in the workplace, including a gas assessment centre, electrical training bays, property maintenance workshop and a large carpentry workshop.

Who we are looking for...

We are looking for an inspirational individual with excellent interpersonal skills to deliver inspirational teaching and learning as part of the college's team at the Bicester Construction Skills Centre. You will use your multi-trades / property maintenance background to teach and assess on the Property Maintenance Apprenticeship, as well as supporting lecturers teaching specialist trade skills where appropriate. You will maintain the highest standards of health and safety and use innovative teaching methods to deliver both practical and theory sessions to apprentices and adult learners.

About you...

You should:

* Be a skilled communicator.
* Have excellent organisational skills and practical experience, ideally from a general construction or property maintenance background.
* Have experience of teaching and assessing and will ideally hold or be working towards a teaching qualification and an assessor qualification.
