Primary Teaching Assistant

I am actively recruiting for an experienced and confident Primary Teaching Assistant or Higher Level Teaching Assistant capable of supporting on a 1:1 basis or provide generic class teacher support.

The applicant must be confident, willing and able to cover/supervise the class at certain parts of the day without the classroom teacher being present.

The role will consist of providing excellent support to the class teacher and other members of staff. The schools aim is to ensure each pupil is able to receive the best education possible.

You will be working closely with pupils of all ranges within the class, from challenging the high achieves to assisting pupils with special educational needs.

You will also participate and lead small group activities both in and out of the classroom on a daily basis. From attending forest school lessons, to assisting with PE lessons.
