We have an amazing opportunity for an Assessment Development Manager, to work for one of the country's leading Awarding Bodies, specialising within the oil and gas industry.
You will help our client maintain and develop a competency scheme that is relevant, valid, and responsive to the evolving needs of the industry. This will involve working closely with Subject Matter Experts to develop effective methodologies and content aimed at improving practitioner competence and stakeholder confidence in the Scheme.
we are looking for a credible background, such as Assessment/Qualification Designer, Product Development Manager, Digital online Assessment Manager, or equivalent roles. You will lead the entire assessment design process, using your expertise to identify and implement evidence-based improvements, across our delivery model. Promote best practice and ensure that assessments deliver agreed objectives, learning outcomes, and accreditation requirements. You will also manage and evaluate our online assessment platform and ensure a seamless user experience across all learning and assessment formats. Contributing to our strategy and business plans, and influencing product innovation, will also be important aspects of your role.
Clearly, this challenge calls for a successful track record in vocational qualification development, assessment design. With clear advantages of working for a recognised awarding body, like EAL, OCR, C&G or Pearson. This must include an understanding of the relevant regulations and legislation for both the UK and International standards of delivery, as well as experience in project management and quality assurance. Excellent IT and communication skills are, of course, essential. A formal qualification in Assessment Design and experience of certification schemes accredited to IEC/ISO 17024 would be a distinct advantage, as would exposure to professional membership organisations and e-learning technologies.
