QA Engineer

Data QA Engineer - Remote - Ideally within 1hr of London or Manchester

I'm working with a global technology company who create a platform used by over 9 million professional users to engage with online summits and talks. It's powered by an AI content & demand marketing platform.
Based in the USA and UK, they are growing as a company and are predicted to grow by 20% over the next 12 months.

They are looking for a strong Data QA Engineer to join their Engineering team based in the UK, who are currently working on a centralised data lake and the accompanying services and analytics. Your role within the team will revolve around setting up and delivering test coverage utilising Java, SQL, CI/CD for the data-heavy platform. You will be working with large scale data warehousing, so knowledge of AWS SDK or Data Lake as well as API's would be highly beneficial. They are looking for someone who has a passion for quality and is always looking to improve the testing in teams you are involved with.

Key skills

* Passionate, Hardworking, Supportive

* Track record of delivering test automation with JAVA

* Strong knowledge of AWS SDK, Data Lake

* Fantastic depth of knowledge of large scale data platforms/data warehousing

* Experience with Bash scripts

* 4+ years of commercial experience

* Excellent communication skills & ability to influence technical discussions
