Cobham Aviation Services are recruiting for a Service Desk Analyst to provide IT support via telephone, remotely or in person for the resolution of software, hardware or network issues, in line with service level agreements. You will carry out in-depth fault finding for technical issues and either resolve or escalate as appropriate. Further, you will liaise with external third party support teams to resolve issues to a successful conclusion

The position is based at our Bournemouth International Airport site, but will also allow for some flexible/remote working.

As a Service Desk Analyst, your skills and qualifications will ideally include: -

Experience in both 1st and 2nd line support.

Experience in desktop and mobile technologies

Experience in supporting Microsoft Office 365.

A working knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2013/2016

Phone system support experience an advantage

Good understanding of networking concepts and technologies

Microsoft, or other relevant vendor certifications desirable

Experience of working within a structured service delivery framework desirable

ITIL foundation certification an advantage

As a Service Desk Analyst your main responsibilities will involve:-

Support IT function, to organise and prioritise daily workload

Setup, deployment and ongoing support of client environments

Reporting, diagnosing and resolving technical issues within the environment

Complete/support leavers/moves, including permissions, equipment and systems

Deploy packages and other software installations via delivery tool

Checking backups, remediating issues and tape rotation, as appropriate

Configuration and support of voice/video communication systems

Day to day support for core Desktop services, Active Directory and user account management

Provide 2nd line support for business applications on the desktop, network/phone/server support and administration

Support such other commensurate IT projects and activities, as required
