We are recruiting a number of Finance roles to support the implementation of the Firm's new practice management system, 3E (AG Core). As part of the AG Core Finance project team, this role will provide you with in-depth knowledge of our future systems and an opportunity to develop other skills and strengthen business relationships.

The main areas within the role are below, although we would anticipate that you will work as part of the wider project / Finance team across all areas, as required, to ensure that the project is delivered successfully.

The role of Finance Systems administrator will sit within the Finance Operations team, in Finance but will be seconded to the AG Core project until May 2022. The primary role will be to ensure that the system integrations for new business and the data integrity between the systems is tested and maintained. The application and on-going maintenance of client billing arrangements is also a key area of focus.

In this role, you should have experience of financial data, a problem-solving and flexible attitude are also required. Training on the various systems will be provided.

Responsibilities will include:


Validate data integrity between the system integrations for new client and matter creation across all AG offices, including International requirements
Apply agreed client arrangements to the finance system in various currencies and test these are working as expected.
Help develop and test the Human Resources processes for transfer of information eg Employee information to financial systems
Apply changes to master-file records in the firms practice management system and advise on improvements to processes
Highlighting any issues and work with the project team to resolve those issues

Knowledge, skills and experience required (bespoke to role)

Previous experience of working in a finance function and/or legal environment
Excellent organisational skill, with the ability to prioritise work and manage multiple complex tasks
Strong IT skills
Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to build effective relationships
Excellent attention to detail
