Behaviour Mentor
Location: Loughborough
Salary: £60-80 per day
Immediate Start
Degree-Six Recruitment are currently working with a specialist school in Loughborough to recruit a behaviour mentor to support students with challenging behaviour. This role is working on a part time temporary basis with the opportunity to extend to long term for the right candidate. The specialist SEND school promotes a structured and supportive working environment in order to offer effective learning to all students in their care. The dedicated team of staff ensure a positive learning environment.
About the roles:
Successful candidates may be expected to work both on a 1:1 basis as well as in small groups with students with challenging behaviour
Support in the learning and development of students
Offer wellbeing and pastoral support where needed
Promote good choices
Present a calm and caring nature when working with students that have challenging behaviour
This role would suit individuals with a desire or experience working with students with SEND, SEMH needs or challenging behaviour.
Desirable but not essential experience:
Individuals that have a background in youth work, youth offenders service, child or adult psychology
Team Teach training or certificate
Driving licence
