Job Details

I am pleased to be exclusively working with a small family run business in their search for a Billing Co-ordinator to work within their well established team in a newly created role based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

Working with the accounts team, this is a varied role which takes responsibility for the entire billing process, ensuring customers are billed correctly for services offered for a growing division of their business. Duties include:

Compile and process information, such as prices, discounts, shipping rates etc...
Closing cancelled accounts
Adding new customers to the system
Deal with any queries which arise
Update records with payments received
Assist accounts on payment information
Chasing overdue payments
Reporting to management
Suitable candidates must have the following skills and experience:

Must have worked for a small owner managed business in a similar role
Able to work accurate with a high level of attention to detail
IT Literate - this roles works with a large volume of data
Ability to manage multiple projects
Must be able to resolve problems with tact and diplomacy
As this role is within a growing part of the business, the client are able to offer future career progression for the right person, as the plan for this role is for it to evolve into a Billing Manager, with the opportunity to recruit and manage a team.

Interviews will be taking place w/c 7th December, with a potential start in January 2021
