Construction Tutor / Manager
£100 - £135 per day

Vision for education are seeking a Construction Tutor with experience of working with Looked after Children, children with Special Education Needs or children who are disengaged from mainstream education to join our team from ASAP.
The role of a Construction Tutor involves working with Looked After Children, students with special educational needs or students who are disengaged form their mainstream school and behaviours that challenge. This role requires a committed, enthusiastic and resilient individual, with great communication skills that has experience working with children with additional needs.
You will be required to work with a variety of students around the Mansfield area, which may be across a number of different settings, therefore having your own transport is essential.
This role will see the successful Construction Manager, supporting students in various settings across Mansfield, these may include schools, libraries, care homes.
The main objectives of the role are:
Plan and deliver knowledgeable and exciting lessons
Track the progress learners make from their starting point and in every lesson
Mark and provide feedback to learners within a week of submission
Support learners to achieve and realise their aspirational goals
You will need to hold a valid DBS which is registered to the update service, or be prepared to obtain a new one
Available full time and seeking permanent employment
You must have at least 2 years' experience/knowledge of working in the construction industry and experience of delivering outstanding lessons and achieving excellent outcomes for learners.
Ideally you must have a recognised teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards completing the correct qualification, Level 3 vocationally recognised qualification in a relevant subject, and Maths & English minimum Grade C or equivalent.
