Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and hardworking individual, ideally with experience in a technical background and the tendering process. Working with a small team based in Sheffield you will be full time office based (with option to work remotely during current pandemic) but must be flexible to suit client's requirements.
This role will enable you to gain insight and experience across the infrastructure sector (utilities, rail, highways, construction, nuclear and manufacturing) and further develop your bid writing skills.
Responsibilities
* Lead and co-ordinate input and responses for pre-qualification questionnaires and invitation to tenders
* Develop and manage responses working closely with subject matter experts
* Identify and re-work existing content in line with specific questions and individual client requirements
* Re-write / edit proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders
* Deliver completed written proposal responses against agreed deadlines
* Develop innovative ways of sharing and presenting information and involve the team in the change process
* Apply client bid feedback to future responses drive continuous improvement
Requirements
Essential
* Communication and people skills
* Demonstrate ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines
* Well-organised with a customer orientated approach
* Writing and numerical skills
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office
* Educated to a degree level
* 3 years writing/ bid management experience
Desirable
* Ability to travel
* Degree Qualification
* Knowledge of the infrastructure sector
