Heard of us?

We're an award-winning bank; backing people to fulfil life's hopes and dreams.

Now is your chance...

The scope of internal auditing encompasses, but is not limited to, the examination and evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of the Group's governance, risk management, and internal control processes in relation to the Group's defined goals and objectives.

Led by the Group Internal Audit Director, GIA helps the Group accomplish its objectives by providing objective and independent assurance on the effectiveness of the Group's risk management, control and governance processes. As an independent function we make impartial, professional judgements based on the evidence we see and the information we are provided with. This then allows us to make constructive recommendations that will support the strengthening of the risk management, controls and processes across the Bank.

The GIA team is based in Reading and Manchester and rated as one of the best independent audit teams seen in organisations of our size, exemplifying focused, positive and collaborative working and are proud to support Aldermore Group in its continuing journey.

When the time is right, we would love to welcome you to our Reading office. In the meantime you will be based remotely. You'll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction.

What would your day look like?

Reporting into the Head of Audit, the role will assist GIA in performing the annual risk assessment & formulating the annual plan as well as leading on the end to end delivery of audits.
