Teachright East Anglia are recruiting for a qualified Drama teacher, NQT or strong Drama instructor that is looking for a new position starting in January 2021. This role would be 4 days per week.

The school are an ambitious independent academy with a staff team who are determined and passionate about their work. They want to make sure each student achieves their very best from their time with them and grows into an exceptional and confident young adult ready for the next stage of their life.

Our client is a small school which means they really get to know their students, staff, families, friends and the community.

Ideally you will have:

A degree / PGCE / NQT status
UK QTS or working towards UK QTS - NARIC & Overseas QTS will be considered with at least 1 year of UK Teaching experience
Are confident leading a Key Stage 3 & 4 Drama class including GCSE level
Have good behaviour management skills
Have a genuine passion for teaching childrenFor this position, you will need experience working with KS3 & 4 pupils, an accurate understanding of the current curriculum, excellent subject knowledge in your subject field and up to date knowledge of the safeguarding guidelines.

You will join a welcoming, supportive, and popular department within the school. Benefiting from long term leadership and experience, you will have guidance from outstanding senior management.

This role is open to experienced teachers and those just about to qualify and will be paid on the MPR/UPR and to scale. TLRs maybe on offer to more experience's candidates.

NQTs will benefit from a proven NQT induction programme with a very high success rate for those achieving full qualified teaching status. Your NQT mentor has taught in schools for over 20 years and has the knowledge to intrust onto future teachers
