Intervention Teacher - Central Bedfordshire - KS3 - January 2021 start - 2 Terms - English and Maths.

The school -
This lovely Bedfordshire school accommodates for pupils aged 9 to 13. The schools purpose-built building includes a Library, Science Laboratories, Music Rooms, ICT Room, Hall, Gymnasium, Design Centre and twenty-one classrooms in the main block. This sits along side the new 'Four Courts' which boast 6 brand new classrooms as well as a state of the art four court sports hall.
Outside, the school is well provided for with two hard surface play areas, an extensive playing field and a floodlit Multi Use Games Area with the recent addition of an outdoor amphitheatre.
The school gained an Ofsted 'Good' in 2018 with the inspectors saying 'The academy's work to keep pupils safe and secure is outstanding' and 'Pupils enjoy school and are keen to participate in the many appealing activities it offers them, including additional sporting activities'.
The role -
The school are seeking to appoint an intervention teacher to teach English and Maths to KS3 pupils. The role will ideally cover 2 days teaching English and 2 days teaching Maths. The school are happy for either a teacher to take on the full-time role or take on part time teaching one of the subjects.
You must be a fully qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge of English or Maths. You must be happy to teach small groups of children, some of whom may have additional needs.
