We are currently working with a friendly, independent Accountancy Practice who are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team.
This position as Payroll Manager will see processing payroll for a mix of small/medium businesses and acting as the point of call for all queries. Duties will include:
* Processing weekly and monthly payroll for a portfolio of clients
* Calculating SMP, SSP, and sickness leave
* Liaising with, and processing, pensions from varying providers
* Answering queries for clients
* Ad hoc reports
If you are experienced processing payroll in an Accountancy Practice and looking for an opportunity to lead a department by playing a key role in moving to a paperless office as well as streamlining processes, something a bit more than the BAU processing. You will be someone that is confident in managing their own time and working to deadlines.
