Job Title - Custom Clerk (Ability to work from home if preferred)

Salary - up to £25K (depending on experience)

Location - Folkestone

Duration - Full time, permanent.

Connect2Staff are working closely with a growing team based in Folkestone. Our client has an exciting opportunity to join their team as an custom clearance clerk on a full time, permanent basis

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has at least 1 years' experience within customs and would be looking to progress within their career.

The candidate would be coordinating and liaising with custom authorities and would be administering all freight requiring customs clearance.

Candidate Expectations
  • Willingness to learn systems
  • Self-motivator and passionate
  • Excellent communicator and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of CNS, Destin8, CHIEF & Datafreight &/or Ricardo
  • Home Use / CFSP / Warehousing / Bonds / T1's / NCTS
  • Experience in inputting Import & Export Entries
  • Understand incoterms and associated Duty & VAT calculations
