Commercial Insurance Team Leader - Maidstone - up to £40,000 doe

We are currently working with an award winning broker who due to expansion are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance professional to support the Customer Service Delivery Manager in maintaining high levels of customer service to all clients, especially the Company's Key Account and Elite clients. To assist in developing key account proposition in conjunction with Renewals Director and Team Leaders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for -

• Negotiating and delivery of MTA and claims settlement

• Deliver the best possible service for our clients

• Premium collect from client for MTA

• Diary management of Open GI

• Daily liaising/ communications/ administration for clients handled

• Servicing of an allocated selection of larger and more complex accounts

• Handling of mid-term issues on renewal business

• Placement of some new business (cross sales)

• Coordination with the HR team on employment relation issues

• Management of the team allocated (absence management, 1-2-1's, providing management feedback

• Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas of new training or skill checks

• Assists management with hiring processes and new team member training

• Preparing and delivering presentations at Company meetings

• Preparing and delivering presentations at Client meetings

Key Responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Vehicles Adjustments and Complex MTA's

• Ad-hoc re-broking cases in relation to unique requirements

• Generating New Business (enterprise cases)

• Diary management on OpenGi

• Daily caseloads in respect of incoming post enquiries and emails

• Maintaining Client and Customer Relations to increase retention

• Assisting in the daily management of the team (absences, 1-2-1s, training, etc.)

Person Specifications

• Knowledge of commercial insurance (approx. 5 years)

• Experience of running a team within an insurance brokerage

• Confident telephone manner

• Excellent communication skills

• Organised and systematic approach to work

• Good attention to detail

• Self-starter and self-motivated in the working environment

• The ability to work to own initiative

• Proficient with Outlook, Excel and Word

Hours: Full Time (8.30am - 5.15pm, 38.75 hours a week),

On site Parking

Salary: up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
