Cardonet has been providing personalised IT support to variety of business since 1999 and we are proud to be working with some very well-known companies, each with different needs and priorities and therefore no one day will be the same!

Due to our continuous growth, we are now looking for an IT Helpdesk Manager to join us at this exciting time to help dive our established IT services forward. You will be both strategically and tactically focused and overlay responsible for the smooth running of all technology services we provide.

Your working hours will be Monday to Friday 08.30 - 17.30, with occasional out of hours on- call duties.

What will you be responsible for?

·Supporting and supervising a group of 8-10 IT engineers

·Arranging and planning workloads for the IT Engineers

·Being a key point of contact for our customers, providing excellent service at all times

·Supporting the team with complex software issues

·Providing advice on better ways of working

·Prioritising and managing several open issues at a time

·Liaising with partners and third parties to resolve customers issues

·Attending meetings and clients sites when required

·Undertaking any other tasks and duties as and when requested

What will you have?

·At least 3 years of IT managerial / senior supervisory level

·Knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure solutions

·Ability to engage meaningfully with all stakeholders

·Great organisation and problem solving skills

·Confidence to build relationships and deal with variety of situation

·Comfortable supporting a wide variety of technology, from virtualisation, ideas about backup, MS Exchange, Active Directory and Office 365, to virtual environments, networks and storage

·Clear DBS check
