Experienced Insolvency Corporate Recovery Manager for established West Dorset-based accountancy practice

I am currently working with a well-established and highly reputable firm in West Dorset who are currently looking for an Insolvency Manager seeking a new challenge.

Their strong insolvency practice is led by an experienced insolvency practitioner and they provide advice to companies and individuals facing challenging financial situations and deals with the full range of formal insolvency appointments. It has grown substantially over the years, having forged strong links with local work providers.

The role will involve managing/administering local cases and proactively maintaining and developing links with local work providers. This will include ensuring the smooth and efficient running of a small department whilst controlling a portfolio of insolvency cases; taking responsibility for arranging and administering an existing caseload and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, professional standards and the firm's guidelines;setting the strategy for each new case and then taking responsibility for its implementation; supporting and actively taking part in guiding and developing any new junior members of the team, particularly ensuring that client and referral relationships are maintained by the delivery of a high quality service and being productive and participating in networking and business development activities;

You will need to have significant experience of all aspects of insolvency work which is likely to be a minimum of five years all round insolvency experience is required with some of that time spent at Manager level; an up to date and detailed knowledge of insolvency legislation, relevant case law, SIPs and guidance from regulators and other government bodies; be client / referrer focused and be motivated to provide the highest quality service; have good time management and organisational skills together with the ability to prioritise tasks to ensure that deadlines are met. You will also have the ability to demonstrate a logical and methodical approach to work and to communicate clearly and articulately, both in verbal and written communications.
