We are currently recruiting supporting a highly recognised Training Provider based in East Midlands.
The Training Provider have an excellent reputation and have strong values towards the delivery of quality training.
Each Trainer/Assessor will manage a caseload of 35, all within East Midlands.
The Trainer/Skills Coach will be supporting learners who are working towards a level 6 in a Careers Development Professional Apprenticeship.
This position is currently working remotely from home.
As a qualified and experienced Careers Guidance Trainer/Assessor you can expect:
" Competitive Salary up between £27250-£29530
" 25 days+ bank holidays rising to 30 days
" Private health Care, Pension Scheme
" Business mileage paid at 45 pence per mile where applicable
Duties and Responsibilities of the Trainer/Assessor- Careers Development Professional
" To coach, mentor and guide groups of learners who are engaged on the Careers Guidance apprenticeship programmes
" Actively support, mentor and motivate learners across the entire learner journey to help them with the timely completion of their learning aims and qualification.
" Embrace the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning, develop learning resources that apprentices can access through the virtual learning environment
" Deliver inspiring training and coaching sessions to groups and individual learners.
" To provide information, advice, guidance and support for the Learners which includes Functional Skills in Maths and English
" Set individual targets for each learner based on capability to ensure KPIs are met
" Manage your diary so that agreed contact with learners is achieved.
" Identify and assess learners' needs and put in place robust learning plans, with realistic and challenging goals, that enable learners to understand their personal journey and realise their potential.
" Observe, mark, and review work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learner's qualification and meet the needs of the qualification.
" Provide insightful, constructive and informative feedback to help the learner maximize their potential.
" Proactively monitor, evaluate and improve the quality and effectiveness of own workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met and that the learner has an outstanding experience.
" Ensuring all IT systems up to date and meet funding compliance.
" Coaching and guiding the learners to the End Point Assessment.
Skills and Experience Required for the Careers Development Assessor/Skills Coach:
" Hold recognised Assessor Award, A1, TAQA, CAVA
" Hold Careers Guidance Qualification at level 4 or above
" Hold experience coaching learners in Careers Guidance or Careers Development
" It would be desirable to have up to date knowledge on Apprenticeship standards and End Point Assessment
" Proven track record in achieving Targets and Quality Standards
" Experience with using online technology such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Virtual Learning platforms for outstanding delivery, learning and assessment
" Full UK Driving license and own transport
