Accounts Assistant job

Your new company
An established organisation in Huddersfield is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their close-knit finance team.

Your new role
As the Accounts Assistant, your main duties will include entering purchase invoices onto Sage (100 suppliers), paying suppliers, reconciling stock, supporting credit control (250 clients), assisting monthly management accounts and ad-hoc admin duties.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed as the Accounts Assistant, you must have previous experience in a similar job position, understand the end to end process of accounts payable and be able to support month end duties. It is also vital that you are an organised person with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll get in return
In addition to a competitive salary of up to £30,000, you will have an extensive and thorough handover period, 22 days holiday plus stat, the standard pension contributions and on-site parking. Usual working hours are 8:30-4:30 Monday to Thursday with a 4pm finish on a Friday.
