Python Software Developer

As a Python Developer you will be responsible for the development of new Python-based support software for control and testing of their next generation mechatronic automation robotics systems. The Python Developer will have a passion for software craftsmanship and drive to continually learn new skills whilst developing brand-new products which are being used to quite literally save people's lives!

Requirements:

• Strong Python development skills with familiarity with both Python 2.7 and 3.x
• On-the-job experience of using Python to develop software applications
• Experience with automated testing and continuous integration
• Reporting, Diagnosing and fixing software issues

The following knowledge/experience would be highly advantageous:

• PyQt, numpy, pandas, ctypes, socket, struct, threading
• Ability to read and understand C/C++
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Code refactoring for testability
