Grafton Recruitment are proud to be working with an expansive, industry-leading client to find a flexible and committed Field Service Engineer, who can carry out a customer-facing role of machine plant diagnostics, servicing and repairs to company equipment. Further key duties are:
- Carry out repairs to an impeccable standard, providing a "First Time Fix"
- Service and maintain company equipment to the manufacturer's standard
- Meet and exceed customer expectations, with an eye for maintaining profitability
- Conducting yourself with the highest degree of professionalism, forming lasting relationships with customers
- Building and documenting knowledge of customer companies and their technical operations
- Take a proactive approach to training courses provided by our client
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background within the Construction/Earth Moving/Plant Machinery product industry, while also:
- Have experience in hydraulic systems, open and closed loop, axles, transmissions manual and power shift
- Must possess an NVQ Level 2 in Plant Engineering
- Ideally live within a 30 minute commute
- Possess a driving license and an ability to work flexibly
- Ideally possess a forklift license
