Building on the success of our existing distance learning provision, we are creating a dedicated distance learning unit that will play a leadership role in leading and supporting the expansion of our provision. This is one of nine posts that we are presently advertising in this recruitment round.

Based in our new Distance Learning Unit, you will be part of the Directorate of Marketing and Communications and will lead the delivery of marketing activities relating to the University's distance learning provision in order to establish a strong brand presence in the UK, EU and International markets, to meet recruitment targets.
You will be responsible for creating and developing marketing content, including writing and overseeing production of all marketing collateral, in print and digital for its portfolio of courses in both domestic, EU and overseas markets. You will have experience of designing high quality digital media content and an understanding of the methods and techniques that are of relevance to the marketing of distance learning provision.
Working closely with academic colleagues and members of the Marketing, International and Admissions teams, you will coordinate the creation of written and web content relating to our distance learning courses. You will manage several key stakeholders from across the University and externally with appropriate bodies and institutions, where appropriate, to enhance the profile of the Distance Learning Unit.
You will be comfortable in a highly competitive, target-led environment. You will be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills and will take a proactive approach to identifying innovative content that is attractive to potential students.
