This role reports to the Head of Technology.
About You
You are experienced in introducing DevOps to an organisation, with engineering teams, both in and outsourced, and are currently working in a Senior IT role, ideally within an empowered and high paced organisation.
Being experienced in Agile software development, means you have a strong technical and technical leadership background, especially in a Best of Breed, Enterprise Application Integration environment
You have a deep understanding of cloud platforms and services; Salesforce and Microsoft Azure/Office 365 and thorough knowledge of modern API platforms (Mulesoft preferred), REST, SOAP, JSON, XML etc

- Managing a new DevOps team, focussing on supporting and continuously enhancing new exciting technology solutions
- Automating processes and workloads to dramatically improve our business
- Focussing on customers, drive new behaviours and skill into FirstPort's IT team
This role reports to the Head of Technology.

Main Responsibilities
- Establish and manage a DevOps team focussed on Salesforce, Mulesoft, SharePoint and other technologies
- Manage the day to day priorities of the team, ensure high performance and availability of technologies for our stakeholders
- Manage a two tier delivery model for both high velocity and low velocity of change technologies
- Manage delivery using internal team and partners
- Manage the relationship of key technology partners, holding them to account to achieve the highest levels of service
- Identify and implement key technologies, such as BitBucket, Jenkins etc. that will allow us to implement automations key for a move to DevOps
- Motivate direct reports through the change to a DevOps approach
