We are working with a secondary school in the Stockport area of Greater Manchester who are looking for Cover Supervisors to work on both long and short term placements throughout the school year.
This is a great opportunity for experienced education professionals, recently qualified teachers looking for more experience and teaching assistants and professionals from other sectors to gain experience working with young people in secondary schools.
The role of a Cover Supervisor is to supervise and deliver pre-prepared work to classes of pupils in the events of staff absence.
The ideal candidate may: Have experience of working with young people of different ages Have experience of working with adults in the care sector, probation services or have worked in the armed forces or emergency services The ideal candidate will: Be resilient and eager to improve outcomes for young people Be proactive and adaptable to a changing working day Have an active enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one at a cost of £45.00 (the certificate is yours and can be used with any agency or employer - Protocol Education just acts as the third party provider for applying for a DBS)
No specialist subject knowledge is required - just a willingness to work with young people
