Production Operator
Engineering Manufacturing Company
Immediate start
3 Shift - Monday to Friday
£12ph
Are you an experienced Production Operator / Machine Operator from an engineering manufacturing background, available immediately to join this secure, busy company?
The Role:
Working initially on a temporary contract, with a view to possible permanent employment on completion
Setting and operating shop floor machinery on a daily basis
Working within a chemical mixing area
Reporting to the Team Leader, working as part of a multi disciplined team
Additional Duties:
Carrying out routine shop floor production support work
Mixing chemical resins
Operating bespoke machinery as part of a team
Carrying out basic inspection
Packaging and labelling finished products
Shift Pattern:
1 week - Mornings (Monday to Friday)
1 week - Afternoons (Monday to Friday)
1 week - Nights (Monday to Thursday)
The Suitable Candidate:
Experience of setting and operating shop floor engineering machinery
From a manufacturing engineering environment, meaning you will have a good understanding of general manufacturing principles
Experience of working with Chemicals previously
Hands on manual worker, who is self motivated, and a hard worker
GCSE's or equivalent
