Learning Support Staff Required
Tier 4 - Tier 2, Full/Part-time, 38 weeks per year (term time)
£9.39 - £10.72 per hour

The Curriculum Services Team are passionate about supporting students with Learning Disabilities and/or Difficulties. We are responsible for ensuring that effective and appropriate support provision is allocated to students requiring assistance with accessing their academic studies across City College Norwich, Easton College and Paston College.

To ensure the safety and welfare of every member of staff seriously especially in relation to Covid-19 we have implemented stringent guidelines, processes and precautions to provide for a safe working environment for everyone to be able to work effectively.
We are looking for staff with patience, great interpersonal skills, and a desire to work with young people and all relevant training will be provided.
1. We are currently looking for staff to work in our inclusive learning department with students with profound learning difficulties, a highly rewarding area working with tutors to support life skills and sensory support for the young people.
2. Also, for staff with an engineering/construction or sport background who would like to use their skills to inspire and develop the engineers/builders or sports stars of the future.
3. Do you have a passion for maths and English and feel you can bring these subjects alive for our young people? Then working within GCSEs and functional skills would be an ideal opportunity for you.
Tier 4 Applicants must have or be willing to undertake the Level 3 Certificate in Learning Support or equivalent programme within 2 years. Applications welcome from those new to support but looking for a career in supporting students with a learning disability or difficulty.
