Release Manager - Contract until March 2021 - Government Department - £450p/day (Inside IR35) - Remote working
Your new company/role
Hays are partnering with a large government department, currently undergoing a range of digital transformation projects, looking to recruit a Release Manager (BAU) on a contract until initially the end of March 2021 (potential for extension) offering up to £450p/day Inside IR35, Starting as soon as possible.
What you'll need to succeed
As the release manager, you will be responsible for the release process including the planning, design, build, configuration and release management activities to support the deployment of release packages from Development through to Production. You will need experience of BAU release management and moving a standard baselined approach to a more fluid agile approach of Release
You will have a strong understanding of how CI/CD pipeline works and understand release management principles. You will have similar experience in a large government department/modern public cloud infrastructure organisation. You will have excellent communication skills, be articulate and be confident in stakeholder management.
