Psychology Graduates - Chatham
£70-£80 a day - Full-time - Immediate and January Starts
Supply Desk are working with mainstream and specialist SEN schools in the Chatham and wider Medway area, recruiting for recent graduates in Psychology who have an interest working in education. We would be recruiting for dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work 1:1 with children with SEN (special needs).
We are working with Primary, Secondary, SEN and PRU schools and the variety of needs that children need support with ensures that there is always a different challenge.
If you are looking to progress in a career in education, e.g. into a SENCO position, this is a good role to start you on your way!

The Role
Working 1:1 or in small groups with students with SEN
SEN needs may include Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
Collaborating with the Class Teacher and SENCO in providing support for the students concerned
The Ideal Candidate
Degree in Psychology
Previous experience working with children with SEN would be highly desirable
Enhanced DBS Checked would be highly desirable but not essential
