WHAT WE'RE DOING

We're on a mission to build the UK's finest digital infrastructure and accelerate its full fibre future - transforming the way we live, work and communicate.

With 8 million homes and businesses to connect in our sights, and a £4bn investment programme to make it happen, we have a busy and exciting journey ahead.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOUWe expect a lot from our team, but we also want everyone to feel supported and empowered in helping us deliver our mission. That's why we make sure to provide opportunities for you to learn, develop your career, use your talents, and fulfil your potential.

With a salary of £60,000- £66,000 depending on experience, you'll also get benefits like 25 days holiday, a day off on your birthday, a day off to support a charity or organisation of your choice, performance-related bonus scheme, and private healthcare.

We want everyone to know - and feel - that CityFibre is a place where we can be ourselves, with all the things that make us similar and different. Where possible, we are open to offering and supporting flexible working, among other initiatives to ensure that we develop a safe and inclusive workplace.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?As our Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end to end delivery of a national rollout for a key client, with strong visibility within the business. You will be responsible for the Project Management of customer interconnect activities aligned to FEX and City rollout. You will be putting together the project plan for all of the end to end network activities from initiation, through design, order provisioning, implementation, testing and RFS within a particular city. This will be used as a template across all of our cities within the UK, tailored to meet specifics where required in each city. Strong stakeholder management and client facing skills is essential in this role along with exemplary project management skills and demonstrable experience of large-scale customer network rollouts to tight timelines.

We're really looking for someone who can come on board and hit the ground running, looking at bringing onboard a key client, chairing project level meetings. You'll be methodical with the project plan, using a combination of MS Project, Excel and eventually Cora, to present and communicate the plan and its progress.

Across the organisation we are moving towards ensuring projects and programmes are being delivered using an Agile methodology. This role will sit within a programme matrix team, liaising with several different business functions.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?Prince2 qualified Project Manager, with experience of Telco Networks (FTTP, FTTH, FEXs) and particularly strong and demonstrable experience delivering projects from end to end.

Using your consultancy mindset, you'll be able to practically solve problems and to assess whether the project is truly being managed and run in an Agile way.

Telco industry experience is essential, as is excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.

OUR CULTURE

The CityFibre Way is how we think, act and work. It's our way of doing things. We back each other, think smart and act fast, and we love giving it our best to build a legacy together. When these four behaviours come together, they shape our culture to bring out the best in us, set us apart from our competition, and make our customers remember us.

It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to unleash Britain's potential in a digital age. There's never been a more exciting time to join the team!

If we think you've got what it takes to help us deliver on our mission, the first step of your recruitment journey with us will be to complete a pre-recorded video interview using Sonru. This is your chance to shine and we can't wait to virtually meet you!
