WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?As our Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end to end delivery of a national rollout for a key client, with strong visibility within the business. You will be responsible for the Project Management of customer interconnect activities aligned to FEX and City rollout. You will be putting together the project plan for all of the end to end network activities from initiation, through design, order provisioning, implementation, testing and RFS within a particular city. This will be used as a template across all of our cities within the UK, tailored to meet specifics where required in each city. Strong stakeholder management and client facing skills is essential in this role along with exemplary project management skills and demonstrable experience of large-scale customer network rollouts to tight timelines.
We're really looking for someone who can come on board and hit the ground running, looking at bringing onboard a key client, chairing project level meetings. You'll be methodical with the project plan, using a combination of MS Project, Excel and eventually Cora, to present and communicate the plan and its progress.
Across the organisation we are moving towards ensuring projects and programmes are being delivered using an Agile methodology. This role will sit within a programme matrix team, liaising with several different business functions.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING?Prince2 qualified Project Manager, with experience of Telco Networks (FTTP, FTTH, FEXs) and particularly strong and demonstrable experience delivering projects from end to end.
Using your consultancy mindset, you'll be able to practically solve problems and to assess whether the project is truly being managed and run in an Agile way.
Telco industry experience is essential, as is excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.
