Responsible for achieving budget targets as set by the Senior Licensing Manager. * Select and appoint Licensees within departmental and company protocol. * Recommend / suggest action to take on difficult cases. * Manage own time to ensure commitment is met in all areas of work. * Recommend training requirements for staff within own department. * Manage and develop Licensing partners contributing to the overall Licensing strategy
* Thorough knowledge of IP related / Trademark contracts and matters, ideally within the consumer products industry * Strong understanding of international customer and market dynamics and requirements, especially in retail * Sound applied knowledge of licensing product development and retail distribution * Demonstrable skills in developing successful working relationships * Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office applications with Excel to intermediate level. * Uses effective approaches and information effectively to present a persuasive case * Makes timely decisions * Good time management to plan and organise workload, managing peaks and troughs in workload * Remains calm and polite under pressure. * Recognises and adapts to the different needs of the organisation and its other stakeholders * Communicates confidently and effectively with manager, colleagues and other contacts * Helps encourage and support others to ensure their contributions are recognised and used * Delegates effectively when necessary * Excellent proof-reading skills * Excellent attention to detail
