This role will be providing guidance and strong leadership to the Assistant Managers in all elements of people and performance management. Demonstrating strong and effective leadership and communication skills. Making recommendations for change and continuous improvement within the individual function. Ensure teams engage in solid and ongoing training and coaching activities for both knowledge and skill. Ensure controls within the individual function are effectively managed to reduce risk

- Provide technical expertise for project implementation
- Manage risk and conduct activities within the individual function
- Communicate effectively to other business areas and stakeholders
- Ensure business as usual service level agreements and key KPIs are met
- Ensure teams adhere to risk, compliance and audit requirements
- Ability to ensure effective performance through solid leadership and communication
- Ensure teams are effectively coached and managed and that people practices are well embedded
Experience & Personal Attributes
- Investment Operations Certificate
- Solid experience of performance management and leading teams through others
- Solid experience of managing deadlines and service level provision
- Experience of managing continuous improvement activity
- Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the management of risk and conduct
- A good knowledge of the managing and developing customer focused teams
